You can pay via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, any type of PayPal, or through US Postal Money Orders, available at US Post offices.
Please note that some credit card companies (such as American Express) require that the shipping address and billing address match.
If you are sending a gift, please let me know so I can include a gift message with your order, if you would like one.
EmiBeans reserves the right to cancel and refund any order, or to require shipping and billing addresses to match if there is a low level AVS match. Usually this isn't an issue, but hey, we have to put it out there. What are your shipping charges? TOP
Shipping charges are based on the weights of each individual product. For instance, if you order one Bummis Whisper Pant, your shipping will be lower than if you order 3 pocket diapers with inserts.
Shipping is is free to United States addresses for orders of $75 or more. Signature confirmation may be required.
**Though international shipping is no longer available, the terms below are available for those with a prior purchase.**
"International Purchases - Our prices do not include taxes and tariffs. Any fees, duties, taxes, or tariffs assessed by the governments of international purchasers are the responsibility of the purchaser. Customers outside of the United States may be required to pay these fees to the courier, as applicable, upon delivery. Since there are hundreds of countries and variable rate schedules, we are unable to provide customers with costs. The International Trade Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce has a website that provide Tariff and Tax Information, that can help you in determining your costs.
Various countries have prohibitions and restrictions that may prevent us from being able to ship to your country. It is recommended that you verify that the merchandise that you are ordering can be shipped you your country. The United States Postal Office maintains a list of Restrictions by Country that you can reference.
It is a violation of international trade laws for a merchant to mark a purchased item as a gift in order to avoid taxes, fees, or tariffs therefore we will not accommodate such requests. Nor can we send an invoice showing a purchase price less than the actual order amount.

If you need to cancel an order and it has not shipped yet, you will receive a refund via the original method of payment, minus a 5% restocking fee.
If you need to cancel an order that has already shipped, you will need to wait for the package to arrive, write REFUSED on the package, and put it back in the mail. You will not incur any shipping fees as long as the package is unopened. If you open the package, the USPS will charge you shipping to return it. When the package arrives back to me, you will receive a refund via your original method of payment, minus the cost of shipping and a 5% restocking fee. What if I need to return something? TOP
If you need to return or exchange an item, I ask that you email me at jennifer@emibeans.com first to work out the details. Our policies are outlined below:
New, unwashed, unused items with original receipt can be returned for the purchase price minus my shipping charges within 30 days of the order date. Your refund will be issued either by the original method of payment or a business check from Emi Beans. Refunds will be processed within 5 days of my receiving/accepting the merchandise.
New, unwashed, unused items purchased 30 to 60 days prior or without original receipt can be exchanged for store credit, minus my shipping charges. Store credit vouchers will be issued within 5 days of my receiving/accepting the merchandise.
Please include a note with your return stating your name and order number if you have it.
Washed and/or used items cannot be returned.
If you have washed or used diapering items that are defective (ie, seams coming unsewn, etc.) please email me at jennifer@emibeans.com for instructions. Some items will be returned to me directly, others will be returned to the original manufacturer.
Menstrual items cannot be returned or exchanged for hygene reasons.
Clearance items cannot be returned or exchaged.
Other returns or exchanges as well as gift exchanges where you might not have an original receipt will be handled on a case by case basis. Please email me at jennifer@emibeans.com if you need assistance.
Can I insure my package? TOP Absolutely! Click on "Insurance" on the left hand sidebar of the home page and insurance will be added to your cart. If my order qualifies for Free Shipping, how will my package be shipped? TOP
All US orders over $75 qualify for free shipping. Your package will be shipped by the USPS unless otherwise noted. This includes Priority, First Class, or Parcel Post Shipping. If you have questions, concerns, or would like to request a particular type of shipping (additional fees may apply), please email me at jennifer@emibeans.com.
Items, such as pregnancy tests, that qualify for free shipping will not include tracking or delivery confirmation unless requested at checkout by the purchaser. An additional fee will apply for tracking.
Some packages may require signature confirmation. Do you offer price adjustments? TOP
If an item you purchase goes on sale within 5 calender days of your purchase, you can email me at jennifer@emibeans.com and request a voucher in the amount of the price difference. Right now, I do not refund the difference, but I am happy to offer a voucher for use on a future purchase if requested.
Can I ship to another person as a gift? TOP
Absolutely! You will need to fill in the delivery address during checkout, and note any special message you'd like included.
Please fill out the shipping information even for gift registry purchases. Do you ship worldwide? TOP
Unfortunately, we are currently only shipping to US and APO addresses. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you place an international order, your payment will be refunded and your order cancelled. Do you fill out customs forms accurately? TOP
We are no longer shipping internationally. The information below is left for international customers with prior purchases.
Customs forms will be filled out truthfully and accurately on all packages requiring them. The customer is responsible for all customs fees the package may incur. Should the customer decide to refuse the package because of customs fees, it will be returned to me and the customer will receive store credit for the amount of the order, minus my shipping and return costs.
I cannot split packages to avoid customs fees. How do you handle back ordered products? TOP If an item you ordered is not available, we will email you asking if you'd like a refund, or to have that item shipped separately when it is available. When will my order ship? TOP We strive to get as many orders as possible out the same or next business day, but we ask that you allow up to 3 business days for your order to be shipped. Why Use Cloth Wipes? TOP
Cloth wipes go hand in hand with cloth diapering. When you use cloth wipes, you have total control over what materials and chemicals touch your baby's tender skin. You can use a pre-mixed wipes solution, such as Diaper Lotion Potion by Kissaluvs, or simply wet wipes under the tap as you need them. Plus, there is no need to separate wipes from diapers. Just toss everything in the diaper pail and wash them together on laundry day. It couldn't be easier! |
